Key superannuation rates and thresholds

 

The ATO's key superannuation rates and thresholds has been updated with the following information:

 

·        SGC maximum super contribution base for 2010-11 is $42,220

 

·        Tax-free part of genuine redundancy payments and early retirement scheme payments for 2010-11 is $8,126 (base limit) and $4,064 (for each complete year of service).
